Asking yourself these questions will help you to:
- Set new goals and open up new possibilities.
- Identify challenges and actions to overcome them.
- Discover important things that might otherwise remain hidden to you.
- Uncover any limiting beliefs that may sabotage your success.
1. How do you want your life to be?
- Write out a clear vision of how you want your life to be.
- Write down your ideal day, ideal month, ideal year.
2. What would you do if money were not a concern in your life?
- This should start to give you clues around your interests.
3. What would you do if you knew you could not fail?
- It is common for us to have a fear of failure which can prevent us taking the first step.
- Develop a clear picture of exactly what you would do if you have certainty about the outcome. The more detailed the better.
4. What are your true talents ?
- Everyone is good at something. Talents can be developed if at a new stage. Choosing work that matches your interest and ability is important.
- Pick three significant people in your life, such as a close friend, ask them what they perceive to be your strengths and talents.
5. What’s stopping you from moving forward and exploring your passion(s)?
- Identify your perceived or real barriers to success and make a list of ways to overcome them.
6. What will you commit to doing now ?
- Write out a clear action plan. Who can you find to help you?
