A coach believes that individuals possess huge potential to resolve their issues. The coach brings no pre-conceived ideas or judgement but acts as a catalyst for change.
No matter what your current circumstances are, you CAN achieve your goals. With your commitment and coaching support we will identify your goals, explore your options and postively shift your thinking to greatly accelerate your achievements. This is the added value of coaching.
Lets take a look at some real case studies which serve to demonstrate where coaching has had a real positive impact. The cases are reports of my actual coaching sessions, but the names of clients have been changed to respect confidentialty.
1) How coaching helped Matthew sell his paintings.
Matthew is an artist, a painter who wants to develop the confidence to showcase his work. Using the coaching model Matthew was able to identify some first real steps to getting his 1st exhibition organised and overcome some limiting beliefs about selling his work. Matthew commented “coaching has helped me organise my thoughts and goals and take appropriate actions, I am very pleased with the personal progress and achievements so far”.
2) How coaching helped James change his career of 30 years.
James is an IT specialist within a large corporation and has worked there for 30 years. With a possible redundancy comming, James felt he wanted more control over his life and wanted help making the move to self employment, and establishing a freelance practice but was unsure about his ability to make this shift. I worked with James to help him identify the broad transferable skill set he already had as a result of his experience working in the corporation, and helped boost his confidence by reorganising his thoughts from limiting beliefs about his abilities to empowering beliefs about his skills. James is now setting up his business and enjoying a refreshing new career pathway.
3) How coaching helped Susan’s recording career.
Susan is a gifted singer who wishes to record her own rock songs and establish herself as a performing artist. She is currently working in various jobs to help fund personal expenses. Professional recording requires considerable funds. Susan felt a bit “stuck” having big dreams, and plenty of ability, but not the financial means to achieve them. I worked with Susan to help her identify the various options for obtaining funds to pay for the recording fees. Susan is now taking the first steps towards what I am sure will be an exciting future in the music industry. X-factor watch out !
4) How coaching helped Julie establish a better work/life balance.
Julie runs an accountancy practice and is also busy with family life. She was finding it challenging getting the balance right. Using tools such as the “wheel of life”, coaching helped Julie establish her priorities for her happiness and helped her reorganise her busy schedule to match those important needs. She is now working part time, concentrating on higher paying clients, and ensuring she schedules time with family and some personal ”fun-for-me” time for herself as well.
